Amandia Global Advisory
We help health systems and funders adopt AI responsibly, and help women lead without waiting to be invited. One consultancy, two practice lines: HEAL-AI and Sama Network.
Health systems and leadership pathways — closing the same gap, from two directions.
Our Guiding Question
That single question runs through every framework, program, and relationship Amandia Global Advisory builds — whether the gap is clinical, digital, or in who gets to lead.
Responsible AI adoption for health systems, funders, and global-health institutions — grounded in health equity, implementation science, and the belief that data should rebuild trust, not just measure it.
A global leadership network connecting, mentoring, and advancing women leaders — from secondary school through the executive suite — through structured, intergenerational relationships.
What Guides Us
Every framework, program, and relationship is tested against who gets left out — then built with genuine care for that person's circumstance.
Every framework starts from lived experience — not just data.
Evidence-informed recommendations, delivered with care.
Experience is transferred with patience — structured, not left to chance.
Open to every woman, wherever she starts.
"I help institutions include the people who are too often left out — guiding health systems and global-health funders toward responsible AI adoption, and building the structured networks that let women leaders advance on purpose, not by chance."

About Amandia Global Advisory
Amandia Global Advisory is the umbrella entity behind HEAL-AI and Sama Network — two initiatives that read less like separate ventures and more like two applications of one underlying belief: closing gaps for the people and communities that get left out, whether the gap is digital, clinical, or in who gets to lead.
Mission
We help health systems adopt AI responsibly, and help women lead without waiting to be invited. Both efforts start from the same question: who is being left out, and how do we include them in from the start?
Vision
A world in which health systems are built with the most underserved populations included from the outset, and in which women lead with full authority, shape institutions, and carry each generation forward — in every country, sector, and season of life.
Our Values
These values apply equally to a health-ministry advisory engagement and a Sama mentorship match — they are the throughline, not a department-specific policy.
Every framework, program, and policy starts from the lived experience of the person it is meant to serve — their fear, their hope, their dignity — not just their data point or their credential.
Every decision — clinical, technological, organizational — is tested against who gets left out, then built with genuine care for that person's circumstance, not just a rule to satisfy.
Recommendations are evidence-informed, not aspirational — but evidence is never delivered coldly. The same discipline applied to pharmacology and health-systems research is paired with care for the people the evidence describes.
Experience is transferred with patience and warmth — structured mentorship that meets a woman where she actually is, not left to chance, proximity, or a one-size-fits-all program.
Open to every woman, wherever she starts — different faiths, cultures, and career stages, held together by one shared commitment to advancing each other.
Confidential, high-stakes conversations — about career setbacks, health-system failures, navigating identity and ambition — require genuine empathy, patience, and an explicit culture of confidence and respect.
New tools (AI) and new pathways (non-traditional careers) are embraced early and deliberately, always asking not only what is possible, but who it will help — and who could be harmed if compassion is left out of the design.
Why "Amandia"
Amandia Global Advisory reads as an established, global professional-services firm — open enough to hold both HEAL-AI and Sama as named practice lines underneath it, without either one being subsumed by the other. It gives one entity, one website, and one bio to maintain, while each branch keeps its own audience and offer.
Meet the founder behind both practice lines, and see how HEAL-AI and Sama translate these values into programs.

Our Team
Amandia Global Advisory is led by Dr. Samim Hasham, and grows outward through the advisors, mentors, and institutional partners who join HEAL-AI and Sama's founding governance structures.
Founder, Amandia Global Advisory
Dr. Samim Hasham has spent more than 40 years building health systems and institutions around a single foundational question: who is being left out, and how do we reach them? That question runs through everything she has built, from medication safety and addiction medicine in Canada, to implementation science across East Africa, to her current focus on the responsible integration of artificial intelligence into health systems in low- and middle-income countries.
As Chief Operating Officer, Global, and Associate Director, East Africa, at the Aga Khan University's Brain and Mind Institute, she led transdisciplinary programs that translated neuroscience and mental health research into community-based promotion, prevention, and early intervention — work built on the belief that rigorous, evidence-informed design reaches populations that goodwill alone does not. She contributes to global AI policy through the WHO Europe Knowledge Community on Responsible AI for Health, holds advanced training in AI strategy through HarvardX, and is a Senior Fellow at Massey College, University of Toronto.
Dr. Hasham is equally committed to opening doors that are currently closed. She was the first woman to chair the World Partnership Walk in its 40-year history, raising more than $151 million, and continues to build structured pathways for the next generation of women leaders — particularly in fields where they are underrepresented but exceptionally well positioned to lead. She is a member of the global Astropharmacy network and the Space Pharmacy Council.
She holds a PharmD from the University of Colorado, an MMngt from McGill University, and a BSc Pharm (Hons) from Robert Gordon University.
Affiliations & Contributions
HEAL-AI draws on knowledge sources and reviewers across WHO OpenWHO, Osgoode Professional Development, the McGill Summer Institute in Health Systems Strengthening, and the Africa HealthTech Summit — informing the platform's governance and financing design as it moves toward pilot partners.
Sama Network is actively recruiting its founding Board and Advisory Council, alongside its first 50 founding members and mentors, across Canada with early expansion planned to East Africa, South Asia, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the Gulf.

Our Programs
HEAL-AI closes the gap in who gets reached by health systems. Sama Network closes the gap in who gets to lead. Both are built on structure, not chance.
A global health equity initiative on equitable immunization and nutrition, piloted around Pakistan's Expanded Programme on Immunization. HEAL-AI merges health-system, behavioral, geospatial, and linguistic data to predict, personalize, and localize outreach — so frontline health workers can reach the children traditional campaigns miss.
Machine learning identifies which children are most at risk of missed or delayed vaccination.
Natural language processing on multilingual text and speech surfaces the behavioral and contextual drivers of caregiver hesitancy.
SMS, IVR, and chatbot messaging is tailored to local languages and specific concerns.
Lady Health Workers and vaccinators receive AI-assisted counseling scripts and household prioritization lists.
Supervisors and policymakers get real-time dashboards visualizing hesitancy hotspots, coverage trends, and resource needs.
HEAL-AI's 2026 strategic update embeds new evidence and governance requirements directly into the platform's design:
HEAL-AI also aligns with Pakistan's National Digital Health Strategy (2023) and WHO's Immunization Agenda 2030 — designed as a complement to existing EPI data infrastructure, not a replacement for it.
A global professional network founded for women pursuing leadership on their own terms, built on one founding belief: that knowledge, mentorship, and solidarity light the path forward. Sama (sky, in Arabic) is expansive and aspirational, and connects naturally to Amandia's focus on frontier health fields — a name with room to grow.
Vision
A world in which women everywhere lead with full authority, shape institutions, drive innovation, and carry each generation forward on a foundation of knowledge, solidarity, and belonging.
Mission
Sama Network connects, mentors, and advances women of all ages and career stages through a global community of leadership, learning, and mutual support — opening doors to non-traditional fields and building the infrastructure for women to thrive.
Women globally, from secondary school through senior executive leadership. Founding chapters are anchored in Canada, with early expansion planned to East Africa, South Asia, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the Gulf. Membership is open to any woman who shares the network's commitments, from launch.
The most important thing Sama does is put a 22-year-old woman in structured, sustained relationship with a woman 25 years her senior who has navigated what she is about to navigate. Every program reflects this — it is not a young women's network or a senior women's network, but both, in relationship.
Space science, AI ethics, global health diplomacy, venture capital, climate medicine, cybersecurity, military and diplomatic service, the performing arts — Sama specifically builds pathways into these fields. They are priorities, not footnotes.
Women now outpace men in post-secondary completion across much of the world — yet a structured, global professional network built specifically around women's advancement, mentorship, and access to non-traditional fields has remained rare. Meanwhile, women remain under a quarter of C-suite roles worldwide, and research consistently points to networks and sponsorship — not credentials alone — as the difference-making variable.
